We are all becoming more environmentally aware and governments all over the world are coming up with new ways to offer incentives for those of us who do the right thing by the environment.

In the limo hire industry, there are a lot of toxic emissions given off by the large and constantly running limousines all over the country. This is why in some areas, there have been incentives implemented to encourage limo hire companies to upgrade their fleets to hybrid cars or to run their limousines on compressed natural gas which is better for the environment.

Germany is also concerned about the damage being done to the air by their vehicles, and are planning to introduce new laws which tax cars depending on their CO2 emissions. The plans for this new law will see it implemented as soon as this year and as a result, cars with lower emissions will be cheaper all round for drivers, whose cars are currently taxed according to engine size.

With many large limousines coming from German car manufacturers, such as Audi, BMW and Mercedes, these new laws will help to encourage new research into adapting these luxury cars to perform at lower emissions.
